Hi, I’m Amanda.

I empower women to embrace who they are while achieving their biggest dreams and being present for the ones they love.

I want to help you become more confident being yourself. But that’s not all. I also want you to feel professionally and personally fulfilled.

You know, that “having-it-all” thing people say isn’t possible? (Um, they’re wrong, by the way!)

You can be yourself, achieve your dreams, AND have time for family, friends, and yourself with careful daily planning and prioritization!

It's my biggest desire to help you transform your life for the better.

The more people who are living meaningful lives, the better our world is. As we individually strive for excellence, learn more about ourselves and the world around us, we can give generously and share with others.

When we step into our own power, we're able to impact the world positively!

I hope you’ll join me on this journey. I’m thrilled about the possibility of working with YOU.

Now, let’s talk about you. You’re going to make the best leap forward as you join me on your personalized journey toward cultivating your deepest desires. Nothing is impossible as long as you have the right mindset.

Heartfelt Words:

How do I help?

I help women live purpose-driven lives.

This is you:

  • You're an ambitious woman who strives for excellence in everything (almost to a fault).

  • You love to feel empowered to achieve in all aspects of your life—knowing darn well that it's not always easy to get there.

  • You enjoy continually learning because you understand that this is how we grow as humans.

  • You're fantastic at maintaining the facade that all is well, but sometimes you get stuck with something. Maybe your career is thriving, but emotionally or physically, you need a fresh perspective. Or, perhaps your personal life is incredible, but you feel your professional growth stagnating.

  • You'd love to work with someone who can guide you toward your goals, help you devise an action plan, and continue to provide support and motivation.

  • You're not a victim of your circumstances. Instead, you rise up when a challenge presents itself, and you do your best to take it on.

Heartfelt Words:

“There's something kind of sneaky about your work—in a good way! You manage to make things simple yet powerful, which is truly rare.”

— Colette, Story Strategist & Filmmaker, StoryEnvelope.com

“You give me energy, and I always feel heard and appreciated when I’m with you. You’re a strategic and clear goal-oriented teacher. And I can trust you always have my best interests at heart.”

— Denise Gibson

My Story—Education & Entrepreneurialism

I'm an educator by profession and purpose, yet entrepreneurial in nature.

I'm a born optimist and a strategist.

I love to combine these two traits by finding ways to solve problems and help others thrive. Helping others to spread positivity and empowerment within their community is one of my passions.

As a kid, I used to play 'school' with my friends (as both the teacher and the student). I also had a habit of creating “kid-preneurial” ventures. I made a weekly newsletter that I sold to neighbours on my block to make money when I was in elementary school.

I’m a former independent school CEO.

I started working in schools straight out of university and have had many roles, from Athletic Director, PE Department Head, Middle School Principal, High School Principal, Director of Advancement, Executive Vice-President, and CEO! It's been a ride!

Now through the creation of DS Education and this website, I'm working to share what I've learned. The tools of growth, leadership, and education that I've gained over many years of coaching, leading and building community are incredible. They've served me well, and I hope you'll be able to use these tools as well.

I LOVE to create and build new systems and structures that support human development and ignite people's mind, body, and soul.

What I know for sure is that all love eventually becomes help. I hope to radiate this love so much so that I'm able to help you.

I want nothing more than for you to be your most effective, loving, happy, successful YOU!

Fun Facts About Me

Looking for some juicy details? Well, here they are…

  1. Getting my nails done is one of my big guilty pleasures. It started out as a way to stop me from biting my nails, and then it became a part of my me-time monthly ritual. It feels good, and they look pretty!

  2. Although I like glittery notebooks, I’m also big into athletics. My claim to fame as a high-schooler was being awarded female athlete of the year (every year). Now, I’m not such a champion athlete, but I’m super into yoga, long walks, and meditation.

  3. I appreciate being surrounded by nature whenever possible, but I also love fancy cars. My go-to car used to be a convertible Mustang.

  4. I’m a total unashamed nerd. I love data, and spreadsheets, and big-vision strategies.

  5. One of my “bad” habits is eating cereal at night as a late-night snack. I’m a night-owl trying to turn myself into an early bird. But if I’m up late, that cereal bowl is always just calling my name!
